The wvib Robotics Day offered students the unique opportunity to gain practical insights into the latest developments and applications in robotics and to network for future career opportunities.

Another highlight was the presentation of the Interreg project RobotHubTransfer (see also linkedin page of the project). The roadshow impressively demonstrated how international researchers and practitioners are working together to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in the Upper Rhine region in the implementation of robotic systems. The aim of the project is to provide SME with efficient and cost-effective support in the form of 100 consulting hours. The services offered include

  • Initial consultation
  • As-is analysis
  • Feasibility study
  • Rough concept
  • Economic feasibility study

This project is an outstanding example of how science and business can work together on forward-looking solutions. The WLRI is proud to be part of this innovative initiative and to involve his students in such future-orientated projects.
