Last week, the Interreg Team had the great pleasure of being part of the Future Workshop of Hochschule Offenburg – another highlight of our anniversary year! The atmosphere was full of energy and curiosity, and we are absolutely thrilled that we were able to share so many exciting impressions.

The Future Workshop is more than just an event – it’s a place where the future becomes tangible! Here, everyone interested could immerse themselves in our daily work, learn something new, and get hands-on. That was exactly our goal: to make knowledge tangible and have fun together in the process.

Industrial Robot HORST: Robotics You Can Touch

A special highlight was our industrial robot, HORST! Visitors had the chance to see it in action – and not only that: they were able to control it themselves! With HORST, they were able to solve palletizing tasks and experience firsthand how industrial automation works. The enthusiasm was palpable – whether young or old, everyone had fun setting a robot in motion. Seeing how quickly our guests got the hang of it and how much joy they had in the process was incredibly motivating for our team. It shows just how close technologies like these are to our everyday lives today.
