ECM orientation week-end at Lake Constance

From October 4-6, this year´s new ECM 1 students were taken to Lake Constance for their orientation week-end.
Each year the ECM office organizes a trip for the newcomers of 2-3 days which gives them the opportunity to talk to the program director and get to know their study colleagues. Besides, those days always leave some space for sight-seeing. This year it included a guided tour through the Zeppelin museum in Friedrichshafen as well as a nightwatch tour through the medieval town of Constance, followed by a visit of the Oktoberfest there.

Prof. Treffinger (head of the study program) and Prof. Jatzlau (also a lecturing professor in ECM) again joined the group this year, which was very much appreciated by the students. Many questions, doubts etc. could be clarified, most of them regarding the study regulation, the choice of elective and language courses as well as the Scientific Project / Master Thesis.

We wish everybody a successful start into the program!
