Offenburg University is thus following the decision of the Alliance of Science Organisations as well as the recommendation of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts, which recommended the suspension of German-Russian university cooperation as a consequence of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. There is currently no academic cooperation between the two universities.

The exchange of Russian students from Petrozavodsk State University with Offenburg University has also been suspended. However, when we checked current exchange enquiries, we found that Offenburg University had made an exchange offer to four students from Petrozavodsk State University. We regret this mistake very much. The university will not complete the exchange in these cases either.
