For developing innovative and sustainable products and processes in industry, new advanced theoretical, numerical and experimental methods and strategies are being researched at Hochschule Offenburg, with a focus on additive manufacturing (3D printing), the development of functionalized components, the development and testing of new materials and substances, and the process of innovation management.

| Short Description | Im Rahmen des Projektes wird ein neuartiger Beton auf Basis von Wasserglasbindern entwickelt. Dieser neuartige Beton soll kein Calcium enthalten, sodass Säureangriffe folgenlos bleiben sollten, da das Calcium nicht ausgewaschen werden kann. Der Beton sollte dadurch sehr viel beständiger sein als Betonarten nach dem aktuellen Stand der Technik. Sanierungen von Abwasserbauwerken können somit über längere Zeit verhindert werden (Ziel: 50 Jahre), sodass die Kosten zur Wartung und Instandhaltung nachhaltig gesenkt werden können. |
