For developing innovative and sustainable products and processes in industry, new advanced theoretical, numerical and experimental methods and strategies are being researched at Hochschule Offenburg, with a focus on additive manufacturing (3D printing), the development of functionalized components, the development and testing of new materials and substances, and the process of innovation management.

| Short Description | Im Vorhaben soll eine universelle Vorgehensweise für Industrieunternehmen entwickelt und implementiert werden, welche die Innovation als steuerbaren und auf hohem Qualitätsniveau reproduzierbaren Prozess organisiert. Dafür soll eine Reihe von erforderlichen, systemischen Maßnahmen auf den unterschiedlichen Unternehmensebenen, wie die Mitarbeiterebene (Qualifizierung), die Abteilungsebene (neue Methoden und Tools) oder die Unternehmensebene (Prozessabläufe, Vernetzung), identifiziert, entwickelt und verifiziert werden. In Bezug auf das Konzept der vierten industriellen Revolution Industrie 4.0 sollen vor allem die Verfahren der Computer-Aided-Innovation (CAI) zur Selbstoptimierung im Innovationsprozess untersucht werden. |
